Lend A Helping Hand Outreach (LAHHO) is actively seeking property donations to help us expand our mission and provide stable housing solutions for individuals in need.
We are currently in need of:
Land
Apartments
Hotel building
Old school building
Any type of suitable building that can be repurposed for housing
These resources will allow us to grow our program and offer more individuals a safe, supportive environment as they transition toward independence.
At this time, we are housing two gentlemen in our care. They are making great strides and are ready to take the next steps toward self-sufficiency. Our goal is to provide them—and others like them—with the opportunity to live on their own, without having to return to unstable or dependent living situations.
With your help, we can create a future where everyone has a place to call home.
If you or someone you know can donate property or support this mission in any way, please reach out to us. Your contribution can change lives.
Building Strong Community Relationships
At Lend A Helping Hand Outreach (LAHHO), we believe that strong communities are built on strong relationships. To truly make a lasting impact, we are focused on creating meaningful connections at every level:
Relationships with children – to guide, mentor, and support the next generation.
Relationships among individuals in our program – to foster unity, healing, and mutual support.
Relationships with surrounding organizations – to collaborate and share resources for greater impact.
Relationships with local businesses – to open doors for opportunities, sponsorships, and community reinvestment.
We are actively working to build as many relationships as possible. Our goal is to involve the entire community in our mission. When we all work together, we can create a culture of accountability, support, and shared responsibility.
Together, we can uplift lives and strengthen the entire community.
Empowering Through Life Skills
At Lend A Helping Hand Outreach (LAHHO), we are more than just a shelter — we are a place of learning, growth, and transformation. Our mission is to teach the principles of everyday life, helping individuals become self-sufficient and confident as they transition into independent living.
Our life skills program includes:
Money management – budgeting, saving, and financial literacy
Bill payments – understanding due dates, utilities, rent, and financial responsibility
Grocery shopping – planning meals, comparing prices, and shopping on a budget
Personal shopping – how to choose and purchase clothing for different needs
Basic home skills – cooking nutritious meals, cleaning, and maintaining a living space
These are the building blocks of independence — and by teaching them, we help individuals gain the confidence and knowledge they need to thrive on their own.
Partner with Us to Empower the Next Generation
At Lend A Helping Hand Outreach (LAHHO), we are eager to collaborate with programs, organizations, and individuals throughout the community as we work to guide, educate, and empower young individuals on their journey toward independence and success.
We wholeheartedly embrace innovation and fresh ideas, recognizing their power to enhance our impact. By remaining open and receptive, we create space for the community to share their creativity and insights—because the best solutions often come from working together.
We believe deeply in the timeless truth:
"It takes a village to raise a child."
With this conviction, we invite you to join us in this important mission. Whether through partnerships, mentorship, resources, or innovative ideas, your involvement can contribute to the life-changing transformation of a young soul.
Together, we can make a lasting difference—one life, one opportunity, one act of kindness at a time.
